I understand that taking the first step can feel overwhelming, so the assessment session is a conversation to see if we’re a good fit.
There’s no pressure, no obligation, just some time for you to share what’s going on for you and to ask any questions you might have.
What an assessment session could look like:
Welcome
We’ll start by getting to know each other a little. You could share what’s brought you here, at your own pace.
Your Journey so far
You could talk about your journey, what you’re looking for, whether that’s support with specific challenges or a safe space to figure things out.
How I work
I’ll explain my approach, how sessions usually run, and what you can expect from me.
Practical bits
We’ll cover things like our therapeutic agreement, confidentiality, session times, fees, and confidentiality so you know exactly how it all works.
Your questions
Most importantly, you’ll have space to ask me anything that feels important to you.
Every session is shaped around you and what you need in that moment. There’s no set script or rigid structure.
This is your space to explore, reflect, and be heard.

We might take moments to step back, notice progress, or reflect on insights that arise during the session.
