Enhanced DBS Check
I hold an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, registered with the DBS Update Service. This is the highest level of background check available in the UK.
An Enhanced DBS includes:
- Details of spent and unspent criminal convictions and cautions
- Any relevant information held by local police authorities
- Checks against barred lists
This level of check is required for anyone working directly with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
Having mine on the live Update Service means it is kept up to date and can be instantly verified, offering you peace of mind that I am safe, trusted, and approved to provide support.

Professional Insurance
I am fully insured with Westminster Insurance Ltd
My policy includes:
- Professional Indemnity Insurance – protecting the people I work with in the event of professional advice, guidance, or support being challenged.
- Public Liability Insurance – covering any accidental injury or damage that could occur during sessions, workshops, or training.
- Medical Malpractice Cover – ensuring protection in relation to therapeutic, wellbeing, and mental health support.
- Period of cover: 31 August 2025 – 30 August 2026.
- Scope of cover: Wellbeing and mental health support, training, coaching, supervision, consultancy, facilitation, group work, and related professional activities (as listed in my policy schedule).
This insurance ensures that all services I provide, whether one-to-one sessions, group work, training, or consultancy, are delivered to the highest professional and ethical standards, with full protection in place for those I work with.
